You’ve found the Klou attachment you want, but there’s one question left: will it fit my machine?

Whether you’re looking for a Klou grapple for your excavator, a stump grinder for your mini loader or a post driver for your excavator, finding the right attachment starts with finding the right match for your machine.

And the easiest way to do this is by using the ‘Compatible with the following machinery’ section on each Klou product page.

So, how do you read the chart?

It’s simple.

Begin by finding your type of machine in the chart. This could be a sit in skid steer, telehandler or excavator, for example.Next, check your machine size. If you are unsure of your machine’s size, a quick search of your machine’s make and model will tell you. If your machine falls within the range shown, the attachment is compatible with it.

But you may notice that sometimes more than one Klou model is compatible with your machine.

For example, a 1.5-tonne excavator can be compatible with both the KCS500 and KCS800 cone splitters. This can be particularly useful if you have more than one machine. If you have both a 1.5-tonne and a 3-tonne excavator, for example, choosing the larger KCS800 could mean the same attachment can be used across both machines.

However, the biggest option isn’t always the best option. If you mainly use your cone splitter for smaller timber, the KCS500 may be the better choice for you as it is designed to work faster on smaller material.

So, compatibility is the starting point, but the right choice can also depend on how you use the attachment.
